I was wondering why there is in the dropdown menu in the media library the option "Audio folders" present. I thought that might be where i can browse my directories for my audio files but it only shows the directories of the media currently open in the playlist/ML. It i'd be great if i can add media from within the media library, instead of adding media via the "add files" or "add folders" windows. Well, im suggesting this feature because ive seen this before and may be very useful. If it already exists please let me know. I still havent figured out the whole of the media library.

The Audio Folders view is for users who have a well formatted folder hierarchy for their files and would prefer to browse their files via this folder system, rather than by metadata.

It's purpose is not to allow you to find music to add to the MediaLibrary, but to browse audio that is already imported.

A request for the audio folder view.
It would be nice if you could set a custom root folder.

For example all my music is in D:\Musik and as it is now it is expanded as:
Other Local Files
D:\
Musik
-- Actual content

The 3 first levels in the tree isn't really interesting for me and makes the actually content being cut off unless I make the treeview panel really wide.

Click on 'View Prefs' when in Audio Folder view, set the 'My Files' folder.

Right so that is what i thought it was. Thing is, i can click all i like on the path shown but nothings happening. I cannot change the folder...:puzzled:

Just a little extra that has little to do with this: A feature would be nice to open the sub-contents of a directory tree not only by clicking on the little black triangle but also when double clicking the selection itself. Just like in explorer really.

Ahh great, love this view! :) (Besides the button with the path doing nothing as Rex wrote. Works nice when editing the path in the ini though)
