Okay, generally I don't let programs fool with my tags but I was interested to find out what the ML in build 104 would write to the Rating tag if I asked it to. I wish there was more of a standard for ratings tags between players but at least there seems to be pretty widespread use of a common custom rating tag amongst a handful of players including QMP, which is good. But now I have to question the values written... it seems none-5 stars are represented in the metadata rating tag as 0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100. Is there a particular reason for this method? Are there other players that use this standard? Are we going to be able to use half stars or something? If it's just arbitrary, I'd love to see it fall in line with just 0-5 or something that other players are already using at least.

Personally, I'd really like to see a way to export the ratings and other selectable metadata from the database as an XML file so I can sync ratings with other databases/players/devices/etc. in the future. Might be an idea for a nice plugin once QMP is finished.

Finally, when I wrote the database info to file, it also wrote an ALBUMARTIST tag (along with the RATING tag of course). This troubles me. The way I understand it, the Album Artist tag should only be used for Various Artist albums, soundtracks, etc. otherwise the standard Artist tag should suffice. Is this a bug or is it intended to store/write that tag regularly?
