Is there a limit to the number of frames i can use for animations? Or can i use say, 30, if i feel like it? Are there drawbacks?

Would be nice if i could use jpg...
Oh yeah, this was in skin developement forums...
As far as I know BMPs don't support multiple frames, so it's no animations for qcd/qmp.

RMI is referring to a skinned visualization which uses the same draw method as a rotational slider when drawn on the .bmp
there is an upload limit here which prohibits large intricate animations. i know this because i've pushed the envelope on it numerous times.
There's no programmed limit to the number of frames for a skinned vis.
If anyone is reworking their skins because of upload limit sizes, just drop me a note, I may up the limit.
Increased filesize.
Increased memory usage, too...

Hey thanks, that's very friendly! Then i'll just keep experimenting and see where it'll end up.
PS If anyone is still stuck with a Pentium processor and 128MB RAM, well that's too bad, time to upgrade lol :ponder:
