Muting While Stopped

I hope this hasn't been mentioned before. Anyway, if you have to music stopped and you hit "Mute," it doesn't work. IT only mutes if the song is currently playing. :(

While we're on the topic of muting, wouldn't it make sense to have Mute be a right click function of the QCD volume control so all skins have the functionality even without a mute button?

Well, if there is one, it should work right. ANd it's too late to remove it as some skins have mute buttons in them.

Technically there's a difference between muting and pausing. When you pause the music, it stops playing and will resume at the same spot after unpausing. When muting, the music continues to play, but you can't hear it. When you unmute, you'll be further along in the song than you were when you muted it.

At work, if I use the pause button and keep it on too long, it tends to disconnect my streaming radio stations. Then I have to start all over again (a minor annoyance). Mute is just the thing I need at work.
