problems since 4.10

Hello,

Ever since 4.10 I have been having trouble with QCD. When I click quit on the player, the GUI disappears but the music keeps on playing. Nothing will force QCD to quit except for ctrl-alt-del, and stop the process. Also when using hotkeys, the pause/play button will pause, but not play again. I am running a P3 850 with XP home, and a SB Audigy. Yes, I have uninstalled/reinstalled QCD, in fact, I have uninstalled/reinstalled XP (for other reasons, not QCD), still doesnt work. I have tried 4.11, and B66. Any other suggestions? As of now I'm going to stick to 4.02,

I posted that in a thread a couple weeks ago. Windows XP seems to be the common factor. Paul?

Are you running QCD with any non-default plugins (any from the website)? If so, try running a clean install.
Also try an alternate playback plugin (Preferences->Plugins->Playback).

My QCD also continues to play after I close it but it stops after a few seconds so it doesn't bother me. I always thought that this happened because I have the CrossFading DirectSound plugin enabled.

I've tried it with Wave Out, Simple DirectSound, and before and after installing MIDI input.

My QCD also continues to play after I close it but it stops after a few seconds so it doesn't bother me.

It still won't quit if I click exit just after startup before playing anything.

Hello,

I only using the QCD hotkey plugin and QueueIt (I had the problem before I was using QueuIt). I likewise had problems when using the crossfader directsound plugin and waveout. Thanks for the effort
