Wilma, the 21th in this season, and another fearsome looking bitch. If there will be a 22th, then a new record will be set for the most hurricanes in a season since recorded history!

Wilma broke a record for the most powereful storm EVER in the Atlantic basin.

Maybe the Moslems are right and God really is pi**ed off at the US. I for one am glad Canada's only a half hour away.

On a lighter note, I wish they'd put some more thought into these names. I can no longer listen to Katrina and the Waves. I just can't walk on sunshine anymore. If Wilma is bad, I'll no longer be able to watch the Flintstones.

God is God.

God designed freewill

Nature has freewill (or should I say; acts freely, based on atmospheric pressures due to earthly nature)

God doesn't interfere with freewill!

Therefore nature ≠ God "technically" in my mind. As it would for the American Indian. (God is Nature for them)

My views only!

One shouldn't be mad at God for bad things that happen, we can only thank him for the opportunity for a chance to have what we have and to be amonst nature (in other words "Life")!

Words spoken in the forum do not necessarily reflect views of those individuals participating in today’s forum! If you feel offended by these views projected upon you, please http://www.quinnware.com/forum/images/icons/icon10.gifdo not be... Yada Yada Yada~!

As far as I could tell Jkrzok's comment was light-hearted, no need to take it out on him. You're probably right about my comment though, I'll give you that. Why should your country not be accountable? Where's the rule that says your government is beyond criticism? You want to wake up man. Your leaders say they do what they do in the name of God. Can't it swing both ways? Or is God a US citizen?

Does this ring any bells?

Careful here WOODs... he's on the loose!http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/animal/animal0019.gifHey, the US seems to be getting God out of Government. That's the bigger deal!
As for EU: You too would have Christianity (God) in the constitution, but worried that it may scare away those countries LIKE TURKEY. Anything for a sale right?
The Convention on the Future of Europe, led by Giscard d'Estaing, a former French president, is drafting the first constitution for The European Union (EU). One reason for the creation of a constitution at this time is that the present union of 15 countries is expected to expand to as many as 25 countries by the end of 2004. 1 A constitution might contribute to the cohesion of the Union.

The first 15 draft articles of the constitution were released on 2003-FEB-6. They contained references to member countries' national identity and for human rights, as well as commitments to social justice and the environment. 2 But they contained no mention to any deity or religion. German, Italian, Polish and Slovakian delegates favor adding mention of "God" and Europe's Christian heritage. More secular nations, like France, Spain and the Netherlands are in opposition.

***************"That message WAS NOT just posted, that is a blatant lie. That message was posted by me 2 or 3 days ago and was withdrawn (deleted) by me within about 3 minutes in the interest of keeping the peace here. Since you just trashed America once again, I guess maybe I should re-post it, but thanks, you saved me the effort.

As to my "taking it out" on Jkrzok I did not do that. I simply said it offended me, and it does, and so did your statement.

Then after admitting "You're probably right about my comment though, I'll give you that.", you procede to pile on more sh!t.

Just for the record I never said my government should not be accountable. Of course they should. But what the hell does a statement like "Maybe the Moslems are right and God really is pi**ed off at the US. I for one am glad Canada's only a half hour away." or "If God is pissed off at the USA then he's got plenty of company." have to do with U.S. accountability about anything???? Answer: NOTHING! WAKE UP! "The U.S." and "The USA" is NOT our government, it is us, Americans. Statements like that are nothing more than cheap shots at America and Americans.

So you've taken your shots and made your points. You've gotten what you wanted...I'm all done with this...Adios. I'm gone.

You might have noticed, if you'd taken off the blinkers, that I never "trashed" your country, I trashed your government. The sooner you do the same the better for us all.

Also, I have always been careful to refer to your fellow countrymen as "US citizens", not "americans"! You show ignorance there, but I'll accept it's a slip.

I know you won't accept what I say to be genuine but I do mean you personally no illwill. You probably have as much say in how your country's run as I do in mine.

I'll be damned if I'll stick my head in the sand though.

EDIT. Yes, I know you didn't post that just now. The dangers of copy & paste.

I for one don't see that it is so easy for someone, especially a foreigner, to seperate the US government from the American people.

For one thing, that US government was elected by the American people. We are, in theory, the boss. We hire and can fire that government. So I would think that like any boss in the work world, that boss is responsible for his hires. So when that representative government drops bombs on innocents I can certainly see how that reflects on the American people.

As for the God comment, it was meant in jest at first. But then when I see three Cat 5 storms hitting the US in a matter of 3-4 months my mind does take a Biblical turn. Believers say He has used natural events to display his displeasure before. And if one is to believe the book of Revelation, he will again. Is it so far out to believe in a demonstration of His anger now? Unless you believe God walks along side the US, of course.

But I do seperate it. In Scotland we recently had two by-elections. Want to know what the turnout was? 28%! Nothing democratic there. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to the US citizens who didn't vote for Bush. THEY are the majority. They are the ones who are not being heard. Same in this country. And it offends me greatly.

For what it's worth, i already PM'ed Inthewoods imploring him not to quit on my behalf. That's not the plan at all.

He's not a stupid guy and he's obviously passionate. Me too.
We just come at things from different angles, that's all. I suspect we probably both want the same things. We just have different ways in dealing with it.

C'est la vie.

Oh, and it's definitely blinkers where I come from.

But back on the hurricane issue (why is this thread called neo nazis at all?), it would seem that Wilma generated a low pressure area that has almost reached a record of something like 885 hPa. That will almost make you fly ha ha. Well not really though because the atm pressure comes from all sides, but i'll make your belly bulge out a bit ;). It's now a Cat 4 but will strengthen a bit again as it starts to move over the Gulf waters near Florida.

Lets keep God out of the question. A hurricane is formed via evaporation of warm sea water caused by the sun's radiation (ie heating). All hurricanes form at or near the equator so it is no co-incidence. Science can explain all the processes. Predictions, no. But that resides in the realms of chaos theory. Quite interesting really.

Well this started out as a Nazis thread, but no one really cared I guess. That's good I think because we shouldn't give a rat's ace about them. I guess Balty's from around that place were they had problems, and chaos erupted in Toledo Ohio because of some young thugs (street punk gangs) used this rally as an excuse to rob and cause trouble!

THe show isnt over yet. Tropical storm Delta wreaked havok yesterday on the Canary Islands just off the coast of Morocco. There have been reported some deaths. Now a 25th storm has formed near the Bermuda triangle and it's called Epsilon. This is incredible. :normal:

Not as much 'restraint' so much as an awareness that to venture forth into this would have only one ending...and a very messy one at that. (Watch…I’ll prove it!)

The unfortunate fact is that there are those among us who exhibit (in my opinion) emotions that border on psychosis...and any thought of a friendly exchange of ideas in a spirit of learning is impossible. Instead of the ideas being attacked, it is the person expressing those opinions who is attacked. Once you understand this simple truth it quickly becomes evident that there is no point in getting involved. One person has made up their mind, he\she is right...you're an idiot (or worse) and nothing is going to change it...except perhaps for years of therapy.

I mean no offense...simply calling it the way I see it.

Some people just don't have any sense of humor.

Todd and I once agreed that if we use humour or better yet, sarcasm, we'd add [sarc] in our conversations ;)

I dont believe that people here, especially non-native english speakers, cant appreciate a good joke given that they understand it. Confusion always leads to disputes.

This is easily solved: Whenever you are faced with a post you don't quite understand and it occurs to you that it could mean one of two things...always go with the better of those two choices.

You do raise a very good point...but I ask you, seriously, how many in this forum actually meet your criteria? My bias tells me that those who fall into the category you describe are more likely to be of above average intelligence and as such not nearly as reactionary or narrowmineded as some others who ONLY know English and Western culture.

In the end it always comes down to the same thing...people are people. If only everybody behaved the way I wanted them too then this would be a much better world.

P.S. Nice new look here. I'm sure it's been commented on already in another thread. Not sure what the "edit" does for you when you are already in edit. "Go Advanced" looks like the old way!
Gets confusing though, clicking on back, after choosing one of those, cancels the edit/reply, which may take time for me to adjust to!
