problem with nero 6 (???)

if i play qcd while burning cd, nero's buffer is very unstable and burning fails.
this only happens since i install nero burning rom 6. never had this problem using nero 5.5.

don't know which one is "to blame", nero or qcd, but i'd like you guys to have a look at this :-) thanx

Maybe just uncheck the CD plugin while you're burning so that QCD doesn't interfere with the burning process??

More than likely your problem is that since you are running two very Ram-Intensive tasks (burning and audio playback), your CDRW is running into buffer-underrun errors. I see it happen all the time, especially with windows media player. Unless you have an outrageous ammount of ram on your system (more than 512) I normally recommend to my clients that they dont listen to music, and only use simple applications while burning. Once your computer has to start using Virtual Memory to do tasks, you really start to feel it slow down, and in your case, this will lead to buffer-underrun.

i usually burn while listening music, surfing the internet etc. most of time i also have shareaza running (those who know which app i'm talking about also know that shareaza's main problem is it's high ram&cpu usage). not a problem with my strong little computer.
