Request: multiple playlist support

I don't have the skills to do this myself, but I would *love* to see this feature in this player. What I am looking for is the ability to have multiple playlists open at one time (2 or 3 would be fine), and to be able to drag'n'drop songs between them. Only one playlist should play at any one time, but all are active for editing.

Reason: I have music scattered all over creation, and to create playlists I have to go digging through the computer and hope I don't miss anything. Having this feature would allow me to have one master playlist that I could just search through and pull from to create a list of whatever I want to listen to at the time. It would also allow me to create a list of one type of music while listening to something else.

Yeah, this request has been brought up before. Also in the form of the 'tabbed' playlists request. I'd like to see it too. :)

I like the idea of a 'tabbed' or numbered playlist, as well.

Now I just want to add to this that I sincerely hope the idea of multiple open playlists as described here and in the previous threads I mentioned hasn't been replaced by having access to multiple playlists within the Media Library. While that's nice, the idea I think most of us are getting at here is completely different. Ideally, the Media Library shouldn't be necessary at all for what's being described (which would make sense if we're sticking with a theme of modularity with QMP).

I just wanted to clarify that and add support for this feature request once again. Also is the old QCD Feature Request sticky (http://www.quinnware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1690) being updated for QMP or is it on hold until QMP is out of beta?
