I just want to run some demo-graphics poll to see what video cards are people using out there...

If you don't use NVidia or ATI just vote for the one you like and the memory amount...

and yes, anything less than 32MB is a drawing pad with 24 color pencils :D

Then I've got the last one both at work and at home (home is an NVidia Vanta with 16MB :o ).

Judging graphics cards by amount of onboard memory is not right. There is major difference between families (like Radeons 7xxx vs 9xxx or GF 3 vs 4), not the "32Mb vs 256Mb". You can install gigabyte of memory on MX card and it will remain crap. No offence to nV fans.

According to my Device Manager:

ATI Rage 128 GL AGP

I have to join Lich here. The amount of graphicmemory says very little about your graphiccard's performance.

Flood Control...
Trust me, there is a good reason...
A VERY good reason...

ATI will never EVER get a single cent from me, again. Even if they do manage to somehow create the 'best' video card. Although they do make nice paperweights....

Any Reason Why?
bought 3 300 dollar Rage Maxx cards, only to have ALL driver development cease in favor of their new line, Radeon. so...I'm a little bitter.

As for the flood control... I didn't knew what I was doing really, I just clicked some buttons and voila!

As for dividing video cards by memory, I thought it will be easier than having like:

Geforce 4 128MB
Geforce FX 5600 256MB DDR
Geforce FX 5600 256MB SDRAM
Geforce FX 5600 128MB

And so on... and on and on

Is just a simple division... I agree memory amount isn't a very nice measure for video cards.

all in wonder 8500DV. Payed too much for it but its handy to have multiple inputs/outputs. It also happens to be me first ATI card. Im liking it so far but I dont push its abilities at all. Hell I dont even use the built in TV.
