I just download this new player...but i have no clue what to do....i heard i can recond music from other radio stations on the net...so i heard...so can someone help me plz...how do i go about doing that? :confused:

Well you gotta select your streaming station first and open the URL in QCD. Remember changing your preferences to allow stream saves in Preferences>Input>MP3

If you need more help, just ask. Also click the buttons around, the program is very user-friendly.

First, download shoutcast plugin and spinamp plugin from the plug-ins page on this site, and follow the instuctions for configuring them. If that doesn't work, get back to us to further figure it out.

i already have shoutcast...but am not sure what this spinamp is and what is does...so can someone elaborate on that..plz and thank youz :D

Spinamp is a plugin sorta like shoutcast, but is not streaming radio. The files are buffered first, and then played, so there is a noticeable gap between songs. You can also choose between a lot of stations that are changed on a regular basis. This is done by right clicking on the Spinamp window and choosing "update stations". The output is mono only and varies in bitrate from station to station. It's run by netscape, and as some (very little) advertising in the program window. However, you can hide it and just listen to the music. I like it when the net gets busy and Shoutcast buffers and rebuffers on some of the smaller stations. Spinamp tends to remain pretty stable most of the time. Make sure you get the Spinamp for QCD on the plugin page here.
