The new commandline encoder plug-in is avaliable to download.
QMP Commandline Encoder--with a new encoder presets editor.
I design it for QMP but should be OK for QCD.

Visit QPlug-ins Project on SourceForge.net (https://sourceforge.net/projects/qplugins/)

I also upload the source-code to SF's CVS.
Waiting for a brand-new idea:)

Is that QPlugins site open to every developer? I could probably dump the source of a plugin or two there, like the ill-fated midi plugin.

Would be good to see some of your projects there. :) (Currently only WinLIRC is there of mine, but I count on putting at least the MSN What's playing plug-in up there also...)

That will be great if you can join our party.
Please registe on SF.net then tell me your nickname. I'll add you into the developer list.

Assuming I did everything correctly, I added a QCDMidi module to CVS. The QCDInputDLL.cpp file has my todo list from 2003 in it. If anyone feels brave they can try to make sense of the code and see what they can do.

Will it be possible at any point in the future to use QMP's own tagging while using a command line encoder?
I would like to use LAME to benefit from its presets but like the ease of use of QMP's tagging.

I'm waiting for QMP's PDK to achieve tagging function.
But I wonder if Paul can add tagging op in the coming PDK :hurt:

@Shohao,

-Hmm, why the tagging option doesn't work? Previously, I use the "%Title%", "%Artist%", & "%Album%" variables to get the tags into the output files using your earlier QCDCLIEnc. Now with the latest (from SF.net) build, those aren't available anymore; no matter I put %Artist% or %Artist or whatever. :disappoin

-FYI, I'm using OggEnc2 for my Vorbis encoding.

Thank you.

I've disabled the tag function until the new QMP's PDK is out.

P.S.
I've found a way to transmission the tag infos automatically basing on loading QCD's tag plug-ins. I'll release out a new version for QCD.

New Version is out, please check the plug-in page soon.

Now, cli encoder will transfer all of source file's tag information into target file.

NOTE: The tag transfering function is full-compatible for QCD only, not QMP--only a part of tag information will be transfered under QMP.

Please change the plug-in name from "CLI Encoder" to "Commandline Encoder".
