screensaver

I'm thinking of making a QMP screensaver does anybody have any requests on how it should look?

I have a couple ideas but want some input(or ideas) from forum friends.

just as a side note: there already is one. it is included with samurize (http://www.samurize.com/) and doesn't work without it. if you want a quick look, here is a 640k xvid video of it (http://www.tropictech.de/tropics/diverse/RealtimeBumpmapping.avi).

But I am going to make one that doesn't depend on another app to use,nothing to fancy(well maybe)but runs like a normal screensaver.

i've recently been yearning for a timer screensaver
like when you have "3D text" enabled with the time showing.
so i'd know how long i was away for, that would just rule.
or maybe something visceral with dripping blood or slime :skull:

I always wanted one that looks just like a desktop, with shortcut icons to porn sites, just to see how many people trip it off (or is it back on?).
Or one that looks like somebody is into my PC using PCAnywhere moving things around, deleting items, etc.
But I'm just a nut like that.

Heigar...you need to start getting some hobbies...like stamp collecting or toy trains.

Not being able to tell anybody means concepts that go beyond the words I know how to use. A screen-saver showing the Universe closing in on itself. Stuff like that. Cosmos stuff. Star Trek stuff.

That hot looking chick Deanna Troi having a fantasy on the Holograph Deck...things like that. :evil:

Go for it Heigar. I am keen to see a standard .scr screen saver.
I don't really have any suggestions though apart from including the standard QMP logo. Look forward to seeing it. :cheeky:

How about showing the various default skins, starting with original QCD, and progressing all the way to QMP?
