Feature request: notifications in systray

QMP is really the ultimate player for me and so far I haven't been disappointed in anything. :heart:

One small feature that will be nice to appear (for me and perhaps other users?) is small notifications in system tray area (baloons, or Winamp5-style fancy small windows) on track change and other program events.

I was looking into writing a plugin that would pop a balloon from the system tray icon on track change, but I think I stopped because the plugin dev kit didn't support using the system tray icon. Of course, I'm not too experienced with shell programming so maybe it's do-able but I don't know how.

I wrote a plug-in with a popup balloon also, but never got real satisfied with the result. Placement was also one of the problems I had, but never used a lot of time finding a solution either. If I should rewrite it I would probably just use a popup window instead so placement bottom/right would be good enough.

Thanks for the info,
the plugin is quite nice, I already thought I found the solution, but there are two things that could be added in the future perhaps:
1) Unicode support (think it's a must since QMP is totally unicoded)
2) Appear on mouse-over (this time it's my own point of view, guess that's quite handy).
Again the plugin is very pleasant on the eye, I enjoyed it alot, thanks again!
