Hi guys,
Apologies if someone has mentioned this before, but are there meant to be two 'Visual Effects' windows in QMP 101??? I have QMP in Medium Mode, but if you click on the 'External Visualizations' icon just left of the oscilliscope/spectrum, you get a visual effects window opened. Whilst leaving that window open, click Menu->Visual->External (Ctrl+V) and you then get a second visual effects window, although this has an additional button and no gain slider. I'm not sure if its deliberate, but its certainly a bit confusing!

When you open that first Visual effects window, if you right-click on that window, it will bring up your visual options. But I agree, if you click the menu and then external visuals, it does indeed bring up a second visual window. Weird! Looks like that might be a bug.

Yeah....You found it. I've mentioned it before.
One External Vis is enough!

I asked about this a while ago. The two green icons to the right of the visual icon (also in the medium mode) do nothing in my system (w98SE). Everyone else seems to get the right visuals when they use it. It should work in addition to the external visual window, but it doesn't in my case. What OS do you have?

I have WinXP Pro. I wouldn't be surprised if QMP doesn't work properly on Win98SE - the OS is about 7 years old after all!

Not so. b101 works perfectly on my system. the only thing I can't get to function are the embedded visuals in the default skin and the enhancer dsp plugin. Everything else works just fine.
Clicking on the area for skin visual turns it off and on. Perhaps you have just turn them off?

Nope, I usually click twice on anything just to make sure. Still no embedded visuals showing up. No big deal, Sonique (smear) works fine for me in the external visual window, and that's all I need (for now). Paul, this is OT, but any ideas why I can't get enhancer to work on this beta?

Probably because it is being initialized twice due to a QMP bug. Wait for the next build to use that plugin.

THANK YOU PAUL! I'll be waiting anxiously for b102 http://beta.quinnware.com/forum/images/emots/smile.gif .
