Help...5.1

Hello all
I have a 5.1 system since 2 hours now,i am usiong a sound blaster Live! 5.1 in my system,i am trying to get the center speaker and the subwoofer to work,but it wont give me any sound...i tried setting them to Directsound but it didnt work either..please assist me ?

is this limited to QMP for you, or does this happen on other media players too? (for instance Windows Media Player)

It happens in all my players,except when i play DVD's,then the center and bass work perfectly.

Go to control panel and double click on sounds and audio devices. THen go to advanced in the area labelled as speaker settings. There select the correct setup of your speakers. Then in qmp make sure to use directsound as playback plugin. Hope this helps.

Didnt work either,

Windows settings are all correct..
When i play a DVD its all correct and all speakers work.
When i try to play music in either WMP or QMP it wont work,it only uses the rear speakers...

Do you have the latest sound drivers installed along with any software from creative? Have you checked in the FAQ section on the Creative website?

Updated my drivers,checked the FAQ's and found nothing...
Still no result..maybe im doing something wrong ?
