Any thoughts on why I am seeing 497 new posts when I use the New Posts feature?

Never mind. This was happening for nearly 2 days. Fixed after logging out many times and deleting every temporary file/cookie that I could think of. :evolved:

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday right after the little conflick we had on the forum. Every thread showed a bunch of posts that had already been read. I felt it was because of that conflick.Just my guess. Everything is fine today.

Good. I thought that I may have logged in a another computer and forgot to log off, screwing something up in the process.

Yea, the time listed on this site does seem to be closer to correct.

I've had this problem several times here. I'm glad you guys posted about this, I thought it was just my computer had screwed up the cookies again. At least know I know it was probably the web site and not me. I couldn't get some pages to show as read, even though I had read them already.

Sorry if I missed any of the discussions about what happened yesterday (to the server). It was down for a while, for me anyway, 2 hours perhaps? It had to be more than just adjusting the time, right?
