Just some thoughts.

Is it possible to remove a folder from the ML scan list? I reserve the right to change my mind.

Is there any way to see what folders are in the scan list?

I assume you can have more than one folder in the scan list... Or does qmp just remember what it added previously whenever a new folder is scanned?

Should I be able to add folders from CD/DVD? If this isn't a bug, can this feature be added?

Will we ever be able to add video files to the ML?

I keep streams in playlists and when I open them in a playlist window I can see titles for each entry after editing their 'tags.' But these entries don't appear in the ML's playlist detail area. All I see are http addresses. Perhaps there could be a way to add streams to the playlist. Not necessarily something like SCLister, but perhaps just a bookmark list of sorts.

I see an entry for a Nero Fast CD-Burner in my devices. Will this be a way to burn CDs in qmp? It doesn't appear to work yet. I get the now syncing to plugin pop up but nothing seems to happen after that. In fact my devices seem to disappear whenever I load a blank cd into my burner. But that may go into the bug thread, assuming it's supposed to work with this release.

I must admit I'm surprised to fiind that I'm actually using the ML. It's a nice tool.

There is no scan list, the ML loads the folder you select and all subfolders.

Adding files from a CD/DVD is purposely not enabled. There will be separate CDRom support in the future.

Video is coming too.

So is stream support.

The fact that you see a Nero device under My Devices is weird, didnt expect that to happen. But CD Burning (when it's added) will be part of that bottom section (not under My Devices though).

Glad you're using it. I never bothered to use one before this either.

Wonderful effort so far. Could you please make it possible for the ML to ignore articles as well as not be so case-sensitive especially with regard to prepositions?

For example: Two entries for "The Cure" and "Cure" or multiple entries for "Music From The ..." "Music from The ..." "Music from the ..."

As you may imagine, this means I have to go through and edit tags to match so Artists and Albums are listed as one.

I am also seeing the Nero Fast CD Burning Plugin. When burning support is added, will it be possible to use something besides Nero? I tend to use Burnatonce for most of my burning and I am also planning on trying the new CDBurnerXP Pro when it finally comes out. Would be nice to have a choice other than Nero.

'Rescan Media Library' is there is reload all the data for the files that are currently in the ML. It does not look at your folders or for new files.

I like the case sensitivity so you can see where there are inconsistencies in your data. When you see groups that should be combined, don't bother editing the tags, just drag the one group into the other (do it right in the TreeView) and the data will be updated to the destination's format.
