First off, I love the player and the Save Streams option on the mp3PRO plugin. I stream from Shoutcast (ChronixRadio) only and at times the player will stall out when playing (possible stream issues). Sometimes the player will begin playing on it's own and sometimes not. When it doesn't restore on it's own, it won't resart one of the streams either. Double clicking the 3 possible links or hitting the play button does not even make an attempt to connect to the stream. I have to then shut down the player and restart it to clear the issue.

Ocassionally I get an "application error" with explorer.exe, once this happens, I get the strangest anomally, all drop down menus on all programs do not show up until you move your mouse over the location the menu should appear. The explorer.exe error and the effects I see on the drop-downs only happens when running the Player. I have yet to see this situation occur when the player is not running.

O.S. = Win2K, SP2

If you need any details about my PC, software, or network environment, let me know.

Thanks again for the killer player.

Try using the MP3 plugin instead of the mp3PRO and see if you get any issues. You shouldn't miss anything since ChronixRadio is an MP3 stream.

This is a bug in Win2k. Right-click on the tray icon of any hung application (not just QCD) and explorer.exe will crash. Upgrading to XP seems to fix this issue.

I will try the other plugin. I used the PRO because it sounds a little better. Not hanging is more important though, thanks.

Bummer! Not only does my machine not boot (even in safe mode) once I upgrade to SP3 or SP4, it won't even recover using a a W2K repair install. This machine freezes and does the same junk when I try to install XP. This is a Athlon 650 based box in need of replacement, but I have zero spare scratch!

Thanks for the tips and all the kick butt programming.
