Hi everyone,

I have Hotamp plugin for Winamp installed. It seems its site is down for a year or even more.
It differs from any other hotkey plugins for any program in this way: it allows you to use Win button.
So, I've configured:
Win+Z - Previous song
Win+X - Stop
Win+C - Play/Pause
Win+V - Next song
Win+A - Show player
Win+W - Exit player
For me it's much better than any Ctrl+Alt+Smth.
Also it allows use to use mouse scroll, so my volume control is Win+Mouse scroll Up/Down.
I miss such features very much in QMP.

Sweet, a post-your-hotkeys-config thread :P

Play/pause = numpad8
Stop = numpad7
Next track = numpad9
Previous track = numpad0
volume up = numpad4
volume down = numpad1
mute = numpad5
fast forward 20 secs = numpad6
add files = numpad2
add folder = numpad3
clear playlist = numpad. (or del button)
close player = ctrl+]

As you might have noticed i use the numpad for multimedia and nothing else. Hey, im a lefty! :biggrin:

In fact, I didn't mean this thread as a place to post your configs :)
I just wanted to show that Win button is very useful.
In bmc152003's config you need one hand to press Ctrl and another one to press Numpad buttons.
In Rex_Mundi_Incarnit's config you either have to move your right hand from mouse to a keyboard or to move your left hand quite far away from its normal place to use Numpad buttons.
In my config you can still read texts, play games and your hands will always be on their palces: the right one on the mouse, the left one on the left part of the keyboard.

another hotkey-program that supports the Win key is Hoekey (http://dana.ucc.nau.edu/~tsr22/apps/hoe.php) (Hey, I didn't thought up the name ;) )
