SOmeone please correct me if I'm wrong...but should there be a "add the media library". That type like (in Winamp) that adds a WHOLE drive...is there a way in QMP?

There is indeed. Top left of the playlist, Add/Add folder/ then select a folder or entire drive.

I have tried this...perhaps volume is a issue...however, when i click on the drive...nothing happens...i'll try again and see what happens...thanks

**update*

I tried both "add files" and "add Folders"...neither works for the WHOLE drive at once...if i go each folder alone...then yes it loads it...but the drive as a whole no go..when i "add folder" and select the drive, the "importing files" box pops up but it adds nothing. suggestions?

I don't think Qaz ment to sound pushy. I think he was just trying to refer you to a thread that was made earlier on the subject.

First off the whole design is beautiful. I'm glad I stuck around long enough to see this come to fruition. I've been using Winamp for a couple of years but honestly have gotten tired of it recently.

Anyway, speaking of Winamp, the thing I like most of about it is its Media Library and in that I can set Watch Folders. I'm not quite sure that is possible with QMP, yet. I'd like to see that capability rather than adding folders one at a time.

Other than this seemingly minor request I'm absolutely astounded so far about how well designed QCD ... er QMP is.

Paul you're the man, keep up the fantastic work!

Check the preferences for the watch plugin config. Not sure if it updates the playlist or ML though.

Playlist to my experience. Though there is an option to import music added to the playlis into the library.

Yeah, I reverse translated it and InterTran really jammed it up. Even I couldn'y recognize it! ;)

there is a development build in beta right now, and you can get it from the home page of this site. there is a media library in development, and there are bound to be problems with it. however, your bugs and suggestions are wanted on this forum, so post anything that bothers you or you think can be better.

thanks... i will download that and see how is it... i used to use winamp and then i discovered quin.... i love quintessential player but i miss the media library frm winamp.
