Simple question... I just can't find the answer.

I currently have MSN with my Verizon service. That allows me to listen to MSN streaming audio. I guess I can also listen to WinAmp streaming audio and Real Audio streaming audio if I had those players installed, but I don't.

So here's the question... using Quintessential Player, how do I set it up to listen to streaming audio so that I don't have to log in to MSN? In other words, I can't figure out what is probably a very simple task and need some help. Any directions on how to set up QP to play streaming audio and/or links to streaming audio sites that work with QP would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance to all for your help.

You know, all you need is a playlist ;) *.pls that sorta thing. Check out di.fm for some playlists of electronic music if that is your thing. You can also check out shoutcast (http://www.shoutcast.com/) for a whole selection of webradios. All the streams that work with winamp also work with qcd.

If MSN requires you to log in you're probably out of luck with QCD/qmp. So far as I know there is no way to enter in a user id/password that will let you play those streams with Q.

But there are a host of other sites that play music for your streaming pleasure. The biggie is Shoutcast (http://www.shoutcast.com/) with thousands of streams, all playable on QCD. There are smaller stations like Radio Paradise (http://radioparadise.com/index.php) . Just stick to an mp3 stream and you'll be ok. Look at Virgin Radio (http://www.virginradio.co.uk/) . I'm fond of their classic rock station there.

Others can come along with a list of their favorites as well. TRhe number of stations available can make your head spin. In general, if you stick with a file format like mp3 or ogg that Q plays you should be fine.
