How do i turn off the "media library" thing?

i've never been a fan of media libraries, and the one in qcd is not someting i think i'll get a lot of use out of. it seems this "media library" thing has taken pride of place over the playlist in this new version, and frankly i'd prefer if it was the other way around. is there a way i can toggle between a playlist and this "media library" ?

i want to see the playlist all the time, like i used to be able to do. :paranoid:

Go to the plugins in the Preferences, then to 'Libraries' and uncheck the 'Quinnware Media Library' box - that should do it. That's what I did, and it works great. Never been a fan of it too.

its not that i'm not a fan of it, i just dont see the need for it. i sort of even like what it does, but i'll never use it.

thanks for the pointer, but im not sure the player likes this plugin being turned off. it leaves a huge white empty space in the skin, which just doesnt look attractive - i guess i was hoping i could replace the media library with the playlist... (and maybe a larger vis). :chinese:

try changing to 'medium mode', that way you can have the playlist open without that large white space.

hmm. i haven't had to hide from the main skin mode since qcd2. maybe im spoiled. :bandit:
