Problems with the Current Devolopment Build

Hey i downloaded the Devolopment build I like it alot but i had set the priority all the way up on QMP 4.51a so other programs wouldnt interfere and make it skip and freeze up.. I did that on this one and my whole computer ran crappy didnt do it on 4.51a. just thought i would make u aware of this.. My computers not really junky its got 512 Mbs of ram 1 256 Pc2100 & 1 256 Pc2700 Stick in it An AMD Sempron 1.51 Ghz & A SB live 5.1 16 Bit Sound card & A Geforce 4 MX 64 MB AGP video card...

Does QMP still skip and freeze up, if you turn the priority down?

Yep and either way its not very responsive either takes a few seconds to get a song to play its like it freezes when u pick a song..

does you hard drive make a lot of noise too, when starting the song? or is it quiet until the song starts?

What kind of programs do you run next to QMP? :)

Are the programs you use next to QMP/QCD very much powerhungry? I mean do they hog all the systems resources? (for instance, video-editing software can become resource-hoggers, and 3d rendering software)

because QCD and QMP should be able to run smoothly on such a system...

No i use programs like Sound Forge to maxmize the volume in Mp3 or Wav's most of the time i Use winrar and i run AIM Weatherbug Yahoo & MSN Messengers all at the same time and a web browser and QCD.. But when QCD Runs it takes up No CPU at all..
