I changed my Creative sound card to m-audio and now I don't have any sound when trying to play video. I have a DVD player and a burner installed on my computer. The DVD player has a red, black, and white wire that plugged into the creative sound card and m-audio does not have a place to plug that wire into that I can see. There is a place on my motherboard right above the sound card and tv card with the same kind of connection that the DVD wires have on it and I think that might be where I need to plug it in but I hate to fry my computer and since I am not sure that is the place to plug it into, I thought I would ask for your help. I know a couple of you fellows have already made the same change. I sure would appreciate your help. Thanks, Wade
I have a Compaq computer with WinXP.
I have WinFast TV installed and it has no sound either.

Sounds like the spot , but to be sure I need to know what your motherboard is(asus,abit,etc.etc.).If you can't find it then you need to find the FCC ID number and then look it up here http://www.fcc.gov/oet/fccid/ then I'll beable to tell you if that's the spot or not.
