Has anyone noticed that the post numbers under our avatars are not increasing with each new post? At this rate, I'll never reach "old geezer". ;)
WOW! This post WAS counted, and I went up a notch!!
OH, I think I get it now. the total posts a member makes is automatically increased through all the forums in which he posted something. I checked an earlier post in another forum, and the total matched this one. I guess that's how it works, eh?

Yer the posts number under the avatar is not the post number but how many posts that user has made.
The old forum worked the other way where it was the post number that was displayed and not how many posts the user had posted ever.

E.g. lets say I make 2 posts. (I just signed up so I have 0 posts). With this forum it would 2 posts under both my posts, while on the old one under the first one it would say post 1 and under the second post 2.
