Ive noticed this for a while, just never said anything. The plugin page is pretty wacked up in firebird...sorry, Im too lazy to resize the screenshot, so I hope you have firebird installed and can try it out yourself.

I'm just comfirming this problem...
I assume it's the same for all Gecko browsers...

I keep Opera on hand as my third-string browser, so i just tried it in Opera 7.23, for the heck of it. the list isn't all over the page like it is in Firebird, it just doesn't display a scrollbar.

use IE
Been there, done that (versions 3.02 through 6.0 SP 1), bought the over-rated, ill-fitting T-shirt. I shouldn't, and won't, go back to IE just for the sake of a single page at a single site. Nor would I claim that you should switch FROM IE just for the sake of a single page.
I use the browser that, through my evaluation, I've found to best suit MY browsing habits and desire for security. It's an informed CHOICE, and it doesn't preclude my ability to respect another's right to choose, even when I might disagree with the particular choice they make.
The same principle holds for media players, as we've discussed elsewhere in these forums.
As a webmaster, I assume Matt would rather be AWARE of such cross-browser issues, EVEN IF he can't/chooses not to deal with them, hence the purpose of a thread such as this. I have my own website, and although it's not highly developed, or even public, I would want to know such things.

in Opera you can turn it on/off...scrollbars....
Sure you can, but that's not the culprit here. I have scrollbars enabled when checking the page in question. I double-checked this morning, still no visible scrollbar using any browser except IE.

What version of Gecko are you using???
In Mozilla 1.6a it looks just as bad as Firebird, actually a bit worse...

Ugliness! How the hell can anyone still be using Opera when there's the mighty Firebird? I find it most odd.

um... I dont know why i said what i said. Yes, mozilla does not display the plugin page properly. The text runs through the border of the box where it says latest plugins.

As it does in all Gecko Engines...
Including K-Meleon, Beonex, Camino, Galeon, Mozilla, and Firebird...

looks like this to me in firebird (i've choped it half sort of, picture was too big for the attachments thingy, but it shows what its doing)
I am aware of this issue. Its really out of my control since its a browser rendering problem. I have tried adjusting the size of the area a little. Let me know if the problem persists.

Hey, the problem is gone. It no longer looks messed up in my mozilla browser. Nice work!
hmm it's amazing what a few pixels does. I must have hit the wrong magic number before. Glad it works.
