yah, I dont whats with the US and Davis Cup. Nobody gives a crap about it. I really dont understand....luckily, the young guys all like to play it, so the future is bright. The reason Pete Sampras and guys like him (Agassi) dont play in Davis Cup stems back from when Sampras single handedly defeated Russia in davis cup final, on clay and got absolutely no recognition. It should have been one of the many highlights of his career, but just turned into a sour point for Sampras and the davis cup in the US.

i suppose i dont live over there so i got no idea how overlooked it is, but here it gets a fair bit of air time... hmmm maybe it has something to do with the fact that we're usually successful.:)

Its mainly to do with the fact that we have so many sports. College Baskeball, College Football, NBA, NFL, NHL and the busy baseball offseason happening at the same time.
