hello.
i have got 7000+ mp3s in the play list.when i restart the QP it needs over 15 seconds to open.is it normal?and why?

a nother question ;
is there any way to editing tag easily and quickly ?for example i've got whole album of some artist in mp3 format..and i want to edit id tags..i know the multi edit function.i add the play list then i select them all then auto tag...here is problem begin;i accept the match - i select the track-i accept the match - i select the track-.i accept the match - i select the track-.i accept the match - i select the track........and so on.....this is so boring to click so many times to some where for accept match and select true track...can it do all this things automaticaly?

thank you very much for this miracle

With the multi edit function, select all the songs with the Select All button, then you can edit the tag for all the songs and you only commit once to apply the changes to all the songs. This is good for Artist/Album tags and such.

i think a loading time of 15sec. for over 7000+ files is not too long...
just try WinAmp and you'll see, that QCD is realy fast ;)

if you need a good tool to edit the ID3(v2)-Tags of your MP3's, i recommend you --> MP3tag <-- (http://www.mp3tag.de/en/index.html)
it's a realy great, freeware !!!, tool to edit ID3-tags, APE-tags and Vorbis Comments of audio files.

silent greets :cool:

Yeah, QCD is a lot faster in loading playlists.

I would recommend the embedded tagger in QCD for tagging your files, it has all the power and if you have the files properly named and in organized in subfolders or something then the "parse" function can do most of the work for you.

I know what you mean. It is annoying. When Gracenote improves their AutoTagging service I will be able to improve this feature.
