How come?
I've been using QMP for over a year and everything was fine. Recently, however, QMP would just display the Gracenote data but refuse to play CDs, including commercially manufactured CDs, even ones I had used successfully before.
I removed 4.51 and reinstalled it. Still no go. I went through the Help files, but to no avail. Since my other audio functionality worked OK, I began to wonder if my CD player or wiring had gone bad.
I deinstalled 4.51 again and tried foobar2000. What a butt ugly product! Wouldn't you know - it works fine on my CDs.
I'm a long way away from giving up on QMP, though. Anybody have any suggestions?
