From long time ago I was looking for an application that could do this.
Take the playlist that you just set in your QCD and collect all the files from all their different locations in the whole hard disk or along the intranet and put all of them in the exactly same sequence in just one folder. A copy or the originals as you want. Then you can grab them or put it where you want.
This is an excellent tool for people like me who want to make compilations from my folders to grab them in CD ad-hoc. Perfect for Radio programs, DJ ing or just to make a compilated CD for a gift.
With any improvement that you cold imagine to put in, but basicly making this, it would be a great plugin.

You can do this using the XCopy plugin. Besides the fact that files in a folder don't have a "sequence" other than how you sort them. But you can use the XCopy plugin to do this.

Well, I got two points about this. The first is that I never can have that plugin (XCopy) charged in my QCD and I don't know why. It just don't appear in the plugins list, even when i try to install it more than ten times.
The second point is exactly what you pointed as an disadvantage with the XCopy.
A really good application would give you the choice to rename the files in some way to arrange the folder order acoording to your initial playlist sort. This option could be just putting a three digits number in the front of the file name of all the copied files.
