I like JK, Warning, GVB, Black Banana... I think those are the main ones. And no, it has nothing to do with the grey/blackness. I just prefer the designs and stuff... :)

Favorite skins: Right now Im using the Winamp port Fatal Error did. Else its Phaseless, Prizm and some of the older skins like Shex satellite and Medusa.

yeah that bugs me too. it's too wide to go under everything and too tall to go alongside everything.

I like PODxt, but then I'm somewhat biased :) I've made a quite a few skins, and most of them I don't like using very often mainly because of their functionality - they're either missing some of the new features or I don't care for the layout much anymore. I think that the skins I'm working on will be better now that I have a better idea of what I like and use in a skin.

Some other favorites are Trancegalactica, Plasticized, PRiZM, Phaseless, Unreal, Green Thumb, Chameleo, Nucleo Heel, and finally Abell (my longtime favorite).

Damn I forgot Green Thumb which IMHO (In My Humble Opinion for those that isn't into the whole internet slang... ;)) should be an Undiscovered Skin at some point. It has not got the credit it deserves IMO.

Thanks Xymantix, my Unreal skin is undergoing some transformations right now to include more features and a little graphical face lift,but nothing to drastic.
But that might be alittle while to much on my plate as of right now.

Betamaxx2 is all time fav,But I use my Unreal skin the most!:D

I currently can't find any one skin that I like a lot... I use qTunes, Petite, and Freeamp, but none of them are really perfect. MMD would be nice except that I have a lot of Japanese text in my ID3 tags, so I use the replacement fonts instead of the bitmapped ones that come with the skin. :(

Ah... the good ol' IrfanView...:)
Another excellent piece of work, done by a single man. IrfanView and QCD are my favorite freeware programs. QCD for music, Irfan for files and stuff. If you load it with all the plugins you are able to see virtually any filetype created so far. Highly recommended. :D

I'm with cabinessence on this one . I prefer the official skin in runt mode. I also have to agree about the green buttons. If you are going to colour the buttons wouldn't it make more sense to make the Play button green and the Stop button Red and so on. That way, when my wife wants to turn it down (which happens far too often), I would only have to tell her to hit the (insert colour of your choice) button. This isn't a complaint as such, more of an observation.

For the CandyGlass to resize well, it will really only be able to be stretched horizontally, not vertically. At least, right now my understanding is that the resize always stretches vs. tiles, so the pattern of bars in the background of the list would look really bizarre if it was stretched vertically. Is this still the case, or is there a way for me to control whether it's tiled or stretched?

Yes. I like PODxt except that it doesn't have an equalizer and I don't like too much the horizontal volume control or the horizontal playlist scrollbar. But apart from that, a nice layout.
