I was trying to use the encoder to rip some tracks from a music cd to MP3 format, then got an error that the encoder can't encode the file (or something similar, can't rememmber the exact error message), and now QCD won't play CD's anymore. i even drag a track from the explorer window to QCD, it adds to the playlist but still - it won't play it. why is that ??
i'm running Win2K

Make sure you have the CD Audio plugin enabled and working OK. Also check if the CD you are trying to rip is being read properly by Windows.
Also, make sure you are using a music CD and not a CD full of MP3 files.

everything is checked and supposed to be runnig OK. but still, QCD display the cd-rom drive as empty, while openning it with windows explorer i see all the music tracks - and yes, it is an audion CD.
