is there a way to add support for mp3gain in quinessential player [or any other way to normalize the listening volume] ?? when i playback .mpc or .ogg there no problem att all because of their plugins have native support for replaygain, but with mp3 that function seems to be missing.

You can get mp3gain at www.mp3gain.com and normalize all your mp3's. Then you can play them on all your players without a problem.

I take it you're looking for support for replaygain?
If thats what you are looking for, you might be able to get it to work by using the winamp input plugin manager along with shibatchs mpg123 plugin or something like that.
But yes, it would be bloody awesome if we could have native support for scanning and reading replaygain data across all plugins in qcd... (one less reason to use foobar then :P )

:cheerful: i have only 3 reasons for keep using foobar2000:
* native support for replaygain
* the awesome idtag-editor with freedb lookup [i f****n hate cddb]
* gapless playback
Everything else i need quinessential player got. i especially like the support of both TRACK & ALBUM based playback in the playlist :biggrin:
