skin tutorials? bitmap help?

Hey Guys

I've started work on a couple of skins, I've created all the graphics.

I started reading the skin development doc and my brain melted slightly.

Does anyone know of ? or is willing to give a step by step tutorial on putting the seperate bitmaps together?

once the primary graphix are done start with Map.bmp

i dont think i've ever really followed a "step by step" procedure and i've done alot of skinning. a combination skinning manual and reverse engineering of other skins with similar behavior to what you want in your skin would be my advice.
