Not so long ago an oil tanker ship (what ever you call em) was broken in two near Alaska. Again major oil spills. The people onboard were rescued but the helicopter flew into a blizzard and crashed. Both stories are pretty sad; nature has once again suffered an oil accident and people who thought they were rescued died not much later.

EDIT: found a news source here (http://www.greenpeace.org/international_en/features/details?item_id=682630) on the greenpeace site.

'Shell' is the biggest oil company here in the Netherlands. We also have: Q8, BP, Texaco, Esso and smaller companies. In italy i know 'Agip' is big.

Hmmm . . . I guess you need some of them thar "liberal blinders" on to see the point's here. The first link takes you to a report of how there are unexplained, increased CO2 levels . . . then goes on to explain that its coming from peat bog releases. The best part is their list of "sources": three UK newspapers. Not science organizations, not scientists . . . newspapers. Probably liberal ones at that.

Link 2: A nice list of anti-global warming sites and the amount of money they've recieved from Exxon. Starting at the top; zero, zero . . .hmmm. I guess they were counting on us just seeing the list and running with their inuendo, instead of actually reading what they published.

Sorry, but I won't be wearing my "lemming" suit today. Still, funny stuff, you gotta admit. :cheeky:
