I been using quinn for a few weeks now and finally read the pdf tutorial on skinning,and well see what you think.Seeing as how this is the first one ive worked on tips,hints,suggestions to improve the skin will be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance.

Looks to be a nice usable skin. I'd go for some darker colours as perhaps a second mode.

I think the slider (track, volume) need to fit better like the rest of the other buttons.

How playlist will look like? I would like to see a sliding playlist (from top or from bottom) in this one, since it's a wide enough.

Thank you for your replies,but im wondering could someone point me in the right direction of a skin to dissect and see how the "sliding" extensions work.Because to the best of my knowledge I didnt read nothing about that in the .pdf.

Yea I am trying to make a .qsf will contain a light and dark version of the skin.

Cool except give the lcd of the red more of an outline and fix the bottom of the gradient on the red playlist.

OK ,,,, I have looked at those skins and I just dont get how they make them slide lol.I read a post somewhere and they tried explaining it but I still dont "get" it.I doubt its all that complicated but ........................ I guess this skin will just have popup extensions.I can get it to slide but not by using a phantom extension.I can add the resize control to the playlist extension for example and when u click it,it slides.Any help on would be appreciated.

having a "sliding" extension isn't really what you want anyway. the playlist is bigger than the the player body. quite a bit of it would still show after sliding closed behind the body.

What about DigiPod skin? Equalizer there is also bigger then the player body. So I think it can be done, only I don't know how, I'm not a skinner. :P

the eq is actually 2 separate extensions on that one

Yea wasnt going to use a sliding effect to slide open the playlist was thinking about sliding open the main player somewhat to reveal the EQ bars.After going over digipod and looking i saw my problem :P I was using the wrong resize control for the wrong breakline.Ooops......

The red-ish blobby stuff in the leftmost lcd is the vis i forgot to turn it off before i took the ss :/
And the 3rd button at top is not fixed yet :P

Whatever happened with this skin? Are you still developing it?

It's pretty darn good for a first effort. It's certainly better than my first effort was!

Any idea when you will be uploading it to the website?
