Looks awesome! Just one concern; the red bar looks a bit dull, can you make the red colour a bit more red and vivid? Thanks. I really like the font btw :)

Some random thoughts...

It's a touch dark colorwise for my tastes but the text it uses is very nice and easy to read. While I can see why some skin authors see text as a design element, most of the time I just want to be able to read it. I wish the file info area was larger in the main skin. Two thumbs up for having the add/remove music buttons on the main skin rather than the playlist. I like to use those buttons and having them close to hand is nice.

Yeah, I've added quite a lot of buttons at the same place. But it's easier to find them if they are all gathered. And it goes much faster to use them if they're on the main skin instead of in an options window.

I've done a small fix that fixes some very small details that probably nobody have noticed, but I don't like buggy/unfinished skins. And it adds a minimize and close button to the remote. New version is currently in queue.
When speaking of new versions! It's really fun to skin QCD so i've already made a little piece of my next version of the skin. Please comment it and come with some great tips. :)

what will occupy the space above the play buttons? it seems a bit off to me :)
if there is nothing above it, I would make it a little smaller or center the playbuttons vertically in that space :) (but that is just me)

*edit* I just noticed that you try every part of the skin to be equal in size... nice idea :)

Overall a nice enough skin but it is a bit... hmm... boring maybe?
I like the brushed metal texture and the shape isn't bad. The "LCD" part isn't good and the buttons should be more indent. The disk icon isn't really good. The EQ is my "favorite" part so far.
(Im no skinner and I dont have a clue on how to make it better... just some thoughts of mine.)

The area above the play-buttons will have the extension-buttons (the playlist, equalizer etc.) and maybe some more buttons, haven't figured out yet.
I have'nt thought so muck about the lcd's, but now when you mention it, I think it's ugly. Will make something nicer...

It doesn´t fit the style of the rest of the skin. (IMO) Maybe it is because it is blue, maybe it is too big... not sure. :-/ Anyway, it is you skin so feel free to disrecard my comment! :)

Is the reddish scrollbar really that blurry? Maybe you want to fix it up a bit? Give it more contrast and a bit more of that 3d look. :)

there is somewhere a bug in your skin,
if you open the playlist for the first time that session, the player gets moved to the upperleft corner of the screen... it is quite annoying ;)

This happens in every skin I have, after I installed your skin.
If I remove your skin again (completely), the bug is gone.

I tried it. Things look good, for what they are.
Issues... very few... I noticed if the player is to the right of the screen the equallizer, and other extentions come out only to the right pushing the player left (were I don't want it). Maybe try to have it pop out left if the player is to the right. I don't know how easy that would be.
I would like to get to the visuals easier. But external visuals at least are in the same style format (very good!).
I love all the volume controls.
All in all very good, might not be my style though... it's just me~

i havent been able to get this behavior. i doubt it's a skinning bug anyway.

The crazy thing is, I had the bug when I had one of Svenne's skins installed... and it was gone the minute I removed it. (checked it twice even on a clean install of QCD)

Seriously, I really want it fixed. And if it haunts my next skin too, I'll maybe end up not making skins for QCD anymore, wouldn't that be a shame? ;)
