In my opinion, Excellent. Your best work yet. This skin was the best thing about "the other". I can't think of anything that would improve it now. It's a pity it can't go on general release but there you go. It would be interesting to find out how many folks are using this as their default already.

Here's a little variation I built for my own use a while back, just for fun, I tried to make enough cosmetic, visual and color changes to make it appear a bit more QCD-esque and a little less Winampish. Nothing originalhere, true enough, but it works for me and was an interesting exercise.

I think this is the only skin that I will be able to stick with. With anything else, I always end up returning to my multi-colored version of QCD 4.20 Runt Mode. Blackened and Grey Stick IMO are the best.

That seems pretty unlikely - I have nothing in my spam filters which would stop a QCD skin getting through. But of course I appreciate that you don't wish to be troubled with repeated requests. Thanks anyway.

The skin is pro! It is not just a rip of modern. This skin has some QCD personality, with that encoder toggle, lcd display, and other stuff.

i knew eventually this thread would go this direction.

i have to admit, the temptation was there to post regardless of permission but ethics got in the way. i've seen too many skin libraries online that were inundated with rips. it's the nature of the beast. i myself have done more porting than my own designs but have only made them available via request. 10 skins at latest count....well actually 13, but a couple will never see light of day. i will most likely keep my ports/rips an underground thing, hosted somewhere to eliminate the hassle of emailing them.

my own skin designing has taken a backseat lately waiting to see if next version
of qcd has any significant skinning changes. there are quite a few i'd like to see....and every port/rip finds more.
