I was looking for a good hard-drive based player when I came across the iAudio M3. I really like the design and features it has to offer. Has anyone ever used this player or know anyone that owns one? (I'd really like to hear what Roj has to say about it.)

It looks like a nice machine but I would miss the screen on the player body itself. Is a remote for something that small really necessary? It also impacts your choices of headphones, limiting you to short cords unless you like a really long cable. I'm assuming the headphones plug into the remote, like a minidisc player.
But it does support ogg and has a decent battery life.
Be sure to Froogle it. Jet isn't the lowest price.

BUMP
I need somebody's opinion. Like I said, I would prefer Roj's opinion over anyone's in this forum. I am really liking the features on this player and I think it's quite a bargain (I found it for $275 on Newegg.com - thanks jkrzok). No dissing the design of the player as I like it's design and I won't have to take the whole player out of my pocket as in my current setup (Sony Net MD).

Perhaps you should PM Roj then. I'm sleeping.

I've been looking at getting a portable HD audio player, specifically one which supports ogg vorbis. This player caught my eye, however I was turned off for the following reasons:
No gapless playback (yet). This, I would think, would be a necessary feature for any ogg capable jukebox. Apparently the M3 doesn't currently support gapless, however a future firmware upgrade could solve this problem.
The M3i will soon be available, if it isn't already. This is a minor update to the M3 with extended battery life.
I'm kinda hanging our for the new Rio Karma... ;)
