This may be a stupid question, but how do I go about listening to internet radio? Maybe I shouldn't even be in this forum. Any help would be most appreciated. Cheers. Sgurr Alba.

I'd say this is the right forum.

You need to find a radio station on some website. There should be some area where it says listen. Just don't click on a Real Player link or a Windows Media player link as those won't play in QCD.

Hi Twig, not really sure what you mean. :( I was hoping to get some kind of program that gives a list of stations so that I can browse at leisure. I listen mainly to Scottish stations, but I have to keep up to date with Canadian affairs too. I know Windows Media Player has a radio browser that I can use but I came to QCD to get away from the microsoft nanny apprach. Maybe I do need a nanny after all. :eek: Yours hopefully.

:D Thanks Paul, you're a lifesaver. This is exactly what I've been looking for. Would I be right in thinking you're Canadian? I am too, although you would never guess it. I was born in Ontario 38 years ago but left for Scotland when I was only 6 months old. My wife and I are coming to Canada next year for good. I hope it lives up to my expectations. Anyway, great work, QCD does exactly what it says on the tin. Most admirable. Thanks all for the back-up :cool:
