Hi! I've been working on a website for the group that I've opened at my school Izmir Institute of Technology; Iztech Physics Society. It was really tiring to create the full concept and style of the club but I've managed to get it right. This whole project carried club cards, tshirts and poster designs, logos, room design, all the attitude and finally the Website: www.phiztech.com (http://www.phiztech.com)
For now it's only Turkish, but since my college's education language is English, within two weeks I'll have to add an English version but you can still pay a visit because the "design" part has no language..For a community that I'm a part of (Qcd),I had to inform you on this one.
So,take care..
PS:If anyone can help me contact any part of the world, for low-bid sponsorship or a scientist planning to visit my school for a seminar or sth,I would really appreciate that.

Maresias, that's a pretty cool website. I like the photographs in the gallery. So iztech is a kind of institute/university where one can study physics? I've always enjoyed physics myself. Even though i decided to go ahead with structural geology, i still get quite a bit of it including Thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and basically the whole theory behind molecular driving forces. But thats not all. Continuum mechanics is a fundamental part of structural geology and not to forget the physics of the Earth aka geophysics and seismology. Anyways, keep up the good work :) but I'm afraid i cant help you with your request.

Actually,Iztech is an institute/college,made up of only science (like MIT,Caltech..) and architecture departments, where all the graduate and undergraduate lectures are given in English to catch up the international standards..blabla..
Anyway, that's a hell of a plan Rex!..You have so much to do then, maybe all you lifetime:confused: !!..Good luck and thank you.
Really nice looking site :) And surprisingly working as well, taking that a lot graphics is used in it (usually this makes sites slow to use). Most of the pictures under photography don't fit in the frame which is kinda nasty.
/me wants t-shirt #3

Ha ha ha I sure do get a lot of theory. But that's what a university is about ;) Luckily at the end of each academic year i have 4-5 weeks of fieldwork, where i go and reconstruct the geological history of an area using geological equipment. I.e. I have to make a geological map. There is also laboratory work involved, especially for students specialising in geochemisty and hydrology. But you are right, i am planning to continue to do research when i graduate rather than go looking for a job ;) Cant get enough of studying
