What is a good technique for spacing out buttonsets?

Thanks,

there should be a 1pixel x 1pixel space between the graphics.(according to the skin doc.)

I actually was trying to figure out how to use my graphics program to produce an even space.

Photoshop,paintshop pro?

If Photoshop you can take a graphic and put it right next to another one and then hold Ctrl and tap the over arrow on keyboard which moves the graphic exactly 1 pixel.

I have photoshop, but I am using corel. If you can basically describe the technique, I can probably translate between the two programs.

Thanks

let's say you have 3 layers with a button state on each layer, layer one has the button where you want it.
go to layer 2 and select the move tool , move the button on layer 2 as close to the button on layer 1,line the 2nd layer button vertically to the one on layer 1 then hold the Ctrl key and tap the over button on keyboard(make sure the move tool is selected and that you are on layer 2)until it is at the very end of the button on layer 1(so they touch).
Then hold Ctrl and tap the over key and it moves the button on layer 2 over exactly 1 pixel(which then leaves you the one pixel gap that is required).
And then just repeat with all the other button states.

Sorry if not a basic explanation it's easier to do then to describe.Maybe try it out in photoshop and then see what you can transfer to corel.

Oops sorry! You don't need to hold the Ctrl key to do this.
