Hi,
Ive had many problems trying to get my playlist to clear before each load. Is there a special way to do this? I only use CD's and sometimes mp3's... whenever it loads i see the past playlist on qcd's listing. please let me know thanks

Did you turn off Preferences->Playlist->Restore previous playlist on startup?

The CD Options you are after are in: Preferences->Plugins->Input, select CD Audio, click Configure. Look on 'CD Settings' tab.

What if the CD contains MP3s?

There is no auto load of mp3 cd's. Use the 'Add folder' and select the mp3 CD drive.

Paul,
It's still not working. Every time i load QCD it has "track 01 and Track 02" ... both blank tracks. I loaded QCD, changed the cd input options to clear playlist upon cd addition, etc. saved, closed, loaded, and it's still not taking those stupid tracks out until i tell it "OKAY PLAY THE CD NOW"
its very annoying. Help?

What do you mean by 'both blank tracks'?
What are you doing to tell qcd 'OKAY PLAY THE CD NOW'?

there are blank tracks that is on qcd's playlist for some reason. two of them.
i have to eject the cd and put it back in to let qcd know theres a cd in now.

well i think it might have to do with me installing over previous versions, do you think it might be that?
I have no idea why these 2 blank tracks keep loading up...
