This is my first attempt at a skin and this is pretty close to what it will look like if I ever finish it. Any thing need pointing out? Do you like it? The orange areas are supposed to look like an old radio dial when it's turned on. The thing above the volume control is supposed to be a replacement for the visualisations because I didn't want them on the main part of the skin, I have no idea how to make it work so, help would be appreciated. And if anyone could tell me how, I would like the buttons and volume control to look more like chrome than they do right now. I also plan to make a brushed aluminum version and a wood grain version.

using a skinned visual method. I assume that line is supposed to appear to move from side to side. create a bitmap with the necessary number of "frames" to accomodate the line in each position of movement.
if you need examples, I have quite a few.

Well yes, I do want it to move back and forth but I want to connect it to the sounds qcd plays and make it work like the real ones on recording equipment, if that's possible for a novice like me.

you can set it to be VU meter or Peak meter in the .ini

I think this orange background light is a little too bright.
Anyway, nice idea for skin. I have similar idea in my mind...

Fatal Error, Thanks I'll try that, once I get to that point, I'll let you know if I run into trouble.
Zayoos, I think you're right, I'll try toning it down a little.

Would it be possible to darken the dial when QCD is stopped, so it looks like the radio is off?
