"Play Next" Hotkey

I would really like a play next hotkey for the search thingy... Yeah. Like Shift + Enter or something.

i'd like a play next song and play previous song hotkey in the hotkey plugin that forces the next song to be played in the playlist even if shuffle is on.
That way, if theres a song that i really wanna hear coming up next in the playlist, and i can't be bothered turning shuffle off, i can go straight to the next song.

I'm not exactly understanding Twig there I guess... cause as far as I know, the HotKey plug-in allows you to do anything like that. Next Track, Previous Track, Play, Stop, all that. So maybe I'm just misunderstanding the request.

As for hedge, why not just set another HotKey for Shuffle. If it's on Shuffle, before you hit the Next hotkey, just tap the Shuffle key, and Shuffle will be turned off. Simple as that. :p

call me lazy, but id like to just go straight to the next song without having to toggle shuffle, next, then retoggle shuffle after, when i could just get a hotkey that simply goes straight to the next song without screwing up the shuffle setting.

okay. I'll try to make myself more clear... :D

In the search field in a playlist, there are hotkeys (not using the hotkeys plugin) to play, select all, see next song, etc. but there is no play next. when i say "play next," i DO NOT mean play next track or fast forward. I mean play as next song. this feature appears when you right click a track in QCD, too... :)

Because he doesn't want it to play immediately, but as the next song. So he want a hotkey to the play next feature so he doesn't have to right click the selected track -> Play -> Play Next.
