question?

hey just wanted to know I am new to qcd. I was introduced to this player by a friend of mine. I would like to know is it difficult to make skins for qcd and what programs would I have to download or by to make skins. and the other portion of my question is do i have to know any type of programing language or script writing.

The skin documentation can be found in the devzone along with some tools that can be helpfull.
About what programs you need, the only thing you really need is a graphics program and notepad. Scripting isn't requered for qcd. (Though you need to edit a ini file)
What you probably want to do is to download a simple skin and have a look at the files inside. (The .qsk is just a renamed .zip file)

download the skin doc in the devzone and if you have any questions just ask alot a questions here in the forum ,somebody would be more than happy to answer them.And yes you need a graphics editing program(photoshop,paint shop pro,gimp,etc)to make the graphics portion of the skins.
