Here in Panama there are a couple of FM Radio Stations interested in webcasting via Shoutcast and I'm wondering if the shoutcast plugin works (or if there are any plans on supporting this later) with QCD.
If all goes well Panama will be Shoutcasting with a few more stations soon! I just hope I can convert the DJ's to QCD instead of Winamp.

Hi Hanzo
Shoutcast works fine with Win98SE, WinNT and Win2Kpro. You have to use the Tara.dll plugin also.

QCD is ready for Shoutcast out of the box. You can play all shoutcast streams, and it supports the shoutcast DSP plugin should you want to create your own station.
Tara.dll is not required.

Oops .. My bad :o But you do need Tara for SpinAmp. I use both, and I always thought you needed the tara.dll for both.

with my the DSP plugin refused to install to QCD and you have to install winamp to be able to install shoutcast which u can then copy the dll files and use it with QCD.
To trick some DSP installers, make a empty file in the QCD folder named 'winamp.exe'. Then point the install to QCD's folder.
