Can't play windows media files

I'm trying to play the following internet radio stream in QCD

http://rope.wlsam.com/audio_player/wls.asx

It plays fine in windows media player. I have the Windows Media plug-in v1.23 installed and selected in the input section of the plug-in browser. The name of the radio station shows up on the artist and song list part of the player, and when I click play, it very briefly says it's buffering. But it never starts playing.

What am I doing wrong?

Try this - it works for me:

http://abcrad.sc.llnwd.net:12015/

Yet to find a shoutcast stream that will not play in QCD.
