One lone feature request...

Before I ask, I want to say that I have been using QCD for a very long time and I am constantly amazed at the new features with every new release....not to mention that even with all the upgrades I have seen the program STILL functions speedily on my system. Thank you once again!

Now on to my one request. Everything is perfect in QCD IMHO, except for one thing. The inability to full screen the playlist. I use foobar along side with QCD, but only because of this to tell you the truth. I (as I am sure many others here) have a pretty large collection of MP3's and it is just very convenient to be able to select my songs in a large, full screen playlist. The current non-expandable playlist displays 13 MP3's at once. Well, when I create a playlist of a few thousand mp3 files, viewing 13 at a time kind of stinks.

Well, that is my one request. Either way, great program and thank you for providing it to us all!

Yeah resizable playlist is gonna be awesome... but while you're waiting why not use quicktrack?
In my case I have a lot of properly tagged albums so quicktrack is just perfect, it's just like a "pop-up" library (lol)

Yep, I love quicktrack. I use it all the time. Kind of reminds me of BeOS in a way. But, still, a full viewable playlist will be the ultimate.

The idea of resizable playlists is creeping me out. As a skinner, I dont know how well this will work with many of my skins. (All of them, actually, including the ones I am making now)

hopefully Paul will have an option to also make a "integrated" playlist instead of the traditional square/rectangle winamp 2/3/5 playlists that are completely seperate from the player.

Yeah. I just don't understand. What if you had a vertical gradient. If you stretched it...

Just curious, here. What would be the value of having thousands of songs in a single playlist? I always thought of a playlist as a way to batch some songs together so that they could be played as a group without having to do anything else. Couldn't you just access the files on the harddrive and select from there rather than having massive playlists?

If there's something I'm missing, please tell. Maybe I'm missing some capabilities by only keeping small playlists.

As for playlists of thousands - not sure. But having a couple of hundreds of songs loaded enables u enjoy a cool random among all songs of an artist or all songs of one genre or whatever. A thousand would be far tooo much for me, but it's a matter of taste.. and of collection size
