I don't know if this is a bug or if something changed in my system that needs resetting. I use the "New Posts" feature frequently and it works fine, but this morning it's showing a lot of old posts that I've already looked at, in other words, it's not updating somehow. Any ideas what might be going on?

Fiddled with browser's cookie-settings? That'd be my best guess. And it's been working just fine for me...

Nope, didn't. That was my first thought too. :ermm:

OK I solved the problem. I just deleted my "Quinnware" cookie from Documents and settings and re logged in. I'm still stumped by what caused the problem in the first place though.

EDIT: Never mind, this didn't fix it either. after a reboot, the problem is back.

not really the same but...
sometimes after i login the new post icon isn't 'greyed out'
also sometimes it is greyed out and then after reading one post they all change to 'not greyed out'
any clues?:skull:

I think that's because they really are new posts and not unread posts. So if you visit the forum shortly after the previous time, they're still marked as new. And in the other hand, if you keep reading some post a long time, the others might lose their new status.
